About Us

The Hot Springs Community Garden is a 10,000 sq.ft. City lot at 1435 Evans Street in Hot Springs, S.D. The lot is divided into raised garden beds, along with a storage shed for tools and access to water. The Hot Springs Community Garden is a nonprofit organization, working in conjunction with the City of Hot Springs, to provide citizens who are unable to have a garden at their residence, a space to grow their own produce. The garden is a work in progress with 40 garden plots available for gardeners in the 2024 growing season. We are always planning new projects and making the garden more enjoyable and pleasant.

The Hot Springs Community Garden has thrived due to the cooperation of the city’s Mayor, Council Members, local businesses and organizations, as well as time and effort by numerous individuals in the community. They are acknowledged on our Home Page. The Hot Springs Community Garden wouldn’t be in existence without all these amazing benefactors.
